Ah, you see, I wanted a name with a meaning most fitting to what this blog stands for. The meaning behind the name is: To seek knowledge and wisdom beyond our immediate & physical limitations. Here's my breakdown: Beyond - to see something more than what it seems; more than first impressions and appearances. The number 3 - associated with the holy trinity (and generally considered to be a holy number in many religions); a number that provides structure, balance, and stability; sometimes associated with positive, creative energy; represents past, present, future; unity/harmony between body, mind, and spirit; birth, life, and death; beginning, middle, and end. Horizon - where land and sea meet the sky; range of perception or experience; something that might be attained.
